Wes Olmstead is the Henry Hildebrand Professor of Biblical Studies at Briercrest College and Seminary, where he has served since 1989. Although most of his published works focus on Matthew’s Gospel, he teaches across the New Testament and gives leadership to Briercrest’s innovative Greek language program, the highlight of which is a semester-long introduction to ancient Greek by immersion, set on the Greek-speaking island of Cyprus. Faith has been his life partner for nearly 42 years. Together, they have two adult children—Bryndon who lives with his wife Felicia in Greece, and Brooke, who is a student at Duke University in North Carolina.
