Join us for our Day of Prayer and Fasting on March 2nd. You can choose to participate in this day of prayer however you would like, wherever you find yourself. As an initiative to increase our dependency on the Spirit, and seeking God to do a transformative work in and through Sardis Fellowship, we set aside the first Monday of every month to fast and pray. We know not everyone is able to do this in the same way, or to the same degree, so we ask you to consider how you can make this work for you. Each month we highlight something to focus on, whether that be in the life of our church family, our local community or world. Sometimes we have specific things for you to pray through and sometimes we just give you the focus and allow God’s Spirit to guide you in your prayer time around that topic.
On March 14th a team of 12 from Sardis Fellowship will be heading down to Seattle Airport to fly to Santa Cruz Bolivia to support the work of the El Jordan Ministry Centre, returning on March 26th. Pray for safe travels there and back, as well as in country. Pray that their presence there will be a support and encouragement to Corina and Marco who operate the Centre, to the wonderful staff who work week in and week out with those living in extreme poverty, as well as with the guests that the team will meet and get to know while there. Pray that the plans the team has for supporting the work of El Jordan will be used of God to draw people to the Centre, encourage them to engage in the program of the Centre, and find the life giving hope and light of Jesus Christ. Pray that God uses even the "unexpected elements" of a trip like this for his good plans and purposes. Pray for the team to be healthy and able to minister while serving in a developing country.
