Sardis Fellowship is partnering with Hungry for Life to work alongside the staff at El Jordan in Santa Cruz, Bolivia on March 14th until March 26th. The team is Rod, Anne, Christine, Marty, Blair, Christina, Caleb, Lisa, Jan, Alex, and Aniya from Sardis Fellowship and TJ Galmut from Hungry for Life. This team will be working to connect with families, living life with them at the El Jordan Ministry through a variety of activities that focus on building relationships and encouraging the families that El Jordan works alongside.
This is an opportunity to bless the El Jordan Ministry by raising funds for a Facility Renovation Project of their kid’s area and kitchen at the centre. Our goal is to raise $25,000 for their project, and 100% of all money that is raised for this project will go to the project. Ruth and Naomi's Mission is "transforming the lives of people experiencing homelessness, poverty, or struggling with addiction by bringing hope and healing through the love of God."
Sardis Fellowship has the opportunity to serve a meal at Ruth and Naomi’s every second Monday of the month from 5:45-7:15pm. We will be serving the food and cleaning up afterwards and need 6-10 volunteers per night that are 16 years or older.
Ruth and Naomi’s is located at 41630 Margaret Avenue. Arrive at 5:45pm and go to the smaller office building not the multi-story housing building. The Hall Entrance has a white canopy over it and once inside talk to the RAN host. The host will show you where you are to serve and what needs to be done. Enjoy time serving and visiting with people, then helping with taking down tables and cleaning up. Clean up is usually finished by 7:15pm.

Join us for our Day of Prayer and Fasting on February 2nd. You can choose to participate in this day of prayer however you would like, wherever you find yourself. As an initiative to increase our dependency on the Spirit, and seeking God to do a transformative work in and through Sardis Fellowship, we set aside the first Monday of every month to fast and pray. We know not everyone is able to do this in the same way, or to the same degree, so we ask you to consider how you can make this work for you. Each month we highlight something to focus on, whether that be in the life of our church family, our local community or world. Sometimes we have specific things for you to pray through and sometimes we just give you the focus and allow God’s Spirit to guide you in your prayer time around that topic.
Pastor Rod and Cheryl will be leading a prayer time on Monday, February 2nd at the church at 12:00-1:00 PM. We invite you to join us.

Curious about faith?
Join us for 8 weeks of exploration of the Christian faith. Each night begins with a meal together where you get to know the people in your group. After dessert, there is a 30-45min video session covering one of the key ideas of what Christianity is all about, followed by a discussion time where you can share your opinion or ask your questions about the topic. Each evening begins at 6pm and we end at 8pm. There is no cost to you for taking the Alpha Course as our church family has sponsored the cost of the evening, we just want you to come and be our guest! Child care is provided for children 4+.
Join a series of group conversations that freely explore the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. You're invited, no matter your background or beliefs. It's free and there's no pressure to come back.

Join us on January 14, 2026 for our 2026 youth kickoff event at Castle Fun Park!
Start the new year with fun, friendship, and memories at Castle Fun Park with your friends and youth leaders! This is a great opportunity to strengthen our sense of belonging and togetherness as we journey together in faith and following Jesus.
IMPORTANT: All participants are required to complete online registration to participate. We have limited seats on the bus, so please sign up as soon as you can to claim a seat on the bus!
Cost: $15* (this fee includes a $25 Playcard, as well as the bus ride to and from Castle Fun Park) (*Sponsorship is available upon request)
On the day of the event: Please arrive at the church by 6:45PM on Wednesday, January 14. The bus will leave from the church promptly at 7:00PM. We expect to arrive back at the church by 9:00PM. You are welcome to take your child directly to the venue at Castle Fun Park if you expect to be late.
