Sardis Youth is a place to belong, grow, and experience the love of Jesus. Every Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM, students in grades 6 to 12 come together for games, worship, gospel-centred conversations, and small groups that go deeper. Our leaders love students like Jesus: welcoming them just as they are, walking alongside them, and cheering them on. Why? Because Jesus loved us first. Here at Sardis Youth, you can be yourself, ask big questions, make great friends, and discover how much God cares about you.

If you are new to Sardis Fellowship or have never been to one of our newcomers lunches, then we invite you to come out on Sunday, September 20th for our Sardis 1 Newcomers Lunch! Stick around after the service to enjoy a free light lunch, meet some of our staff, and hear a bit about who we are as a community. Childcare will be provided!

If you are planning to attend our Newcomers Lunch, we ask that you sign up online so know how much food to prepare!

Freedom Session: Info Night

Freedom Session is a powerful, healing-discipleship journey, inviting you to rewrite your story with a God-inspired ending. Through biblical teaching, small group discussion and personal reflection, Jesus will heal your heart and empower you to live a life of freedom and purpose. Join us for a free info night on Thursday, September 17 @ 7pm at Sardis Fellowship Baptist Church to hear more about it and to ask any questions you may have about Freedom Session.

Sunday Fall Kickoff - Chicken BBQ

Stick around after the service on Sunday September 13th for our Fall Kickoff Chicken BBQ! This is a great time to enjoy food and have fellowship with one another as a church family. If you're new to our church, this is a perfect chance to meet people and learn more about who we are. There will be games and fun activities for the kids as well! So come on out, bring a picnic blanket and chairs if you would like, and we hope to see you there!

Heidi Gladman has served with Avant Ministries for over 20 years, first at the El Jordan Ministry in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and more recently in the head office in Kansas City, Missouri. Sardis Fellowship is Heidi's sending church as she, and her family, were a part of Sardis Fellowship for a number of years before she first went to serve in Bolivia. Join us for a BBQ at Rod & Anne Heppell's backyard (42730 Janzen rd. Greendale) on Sunday August 16th at 12noon to meet Heidi and hear more about her ministry. August 15th at 8:00 PM: Join us at 41918 South Sumas Road for an outdoor movie night. Please bring snacks to share and a lawn chair/blankets to sit on. Movie TBD and will be announced at a later date.

August 3rd at 2:00 PM: Hicks Lake for Swimming and Canoeing, as well as a BBQ dinner. There will be 1 canoe provided but feel free to bring your own canoes, kayaks, floaties, paddle boards, etc. BBQ dinner will be provided. Please email Devin at mdevin197@gmail.com if you are planning to attend so enough food can be planned.

Be at Hicks Lake main public beach parking lot for 2:00 or meet at the church at 1:00 for carpooling (as it is a 45 minute drive from the church).

Fraser Valley Gleaners - Youth Service Event

Join us for a morning of food preparation delivered across the world!

Date and Time: Wednesday, July 29th, 2026 from 9:00am - 12:00pm
Where: Meet us at Sardis Fellowship Baptist church at 8:15 and we will arrange rides there. We will arrive at Fraser Valley Gleaners (85 Winson Rd. Abbotsford, BC) at 9:00am.
Who: All youth ages 12 and up are invited to serve!

Because of the limited space available at the facility, we can only bring a maximum of 15 youth to Fraser Valley Gleaners, so be sure to register soon! 

Snacks will be provided mid-morning and students will return home for lunch!
