Location: Meet us at Greendale Acres! 41905 Yale Rd.
Cost: $10 per person (includes group discount and church support). Payable online or bring $10 cash. Please sign up ahead of time!
What to bring? Bring shoes that you are comfortable getting muddy and a rain jacket in case of rain.**

Men and their sons (12+) are invited to come out to Coalmont, BC for a weekend of fellowship and fun. This is a great way to connect with other men in the life of our church for mutual encouragement in our walk with God through study, discussion, testimonies, food, and fun in God's creation.

What is the cost? To cover some fuel and food, the cost is $50/person/day for a total of $150 if you plan to attend the whole weekend.
Do I need to own a quad to attend? No. There are lots of quads and side-by-sides on site for use and to share, but you are welcome to bring your own ride if you prefer.
Arrival/Departure: Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to/from the retreat, although carpooling can likely be arranged. We know everyone has different schedules, so arrive anytime that works for you on Friday afternoon (most head out after work).
Attend for the whole weekend, or just one day. It’s up to you. We plan to wrap up on Sunday afternoon.
What are the accommodations? Rustic cabin accommodations are provided, but please plan to bring your own bedding. Those who sign up first will get preferred beds, and we will do our best to accommodate everyone who signs up.
Please plan to pitch in with cleaning or cooking at some point during the weekend.
Please note there is no cell or internet service at the cabin.

Where: Meet us at Sardis Fellowship Baptist Church at 8:15am and we will arrange rides there. We will arrive at Fraser Valley Gleaners (85 Winson Rd. Abbotsford, BC) at 9:00am.
Who: All youth ages 12 and up are invited to serve!
Because of the limited space available at the facility, we can only bring a maximum of 15 youth to Fraser Valley Gleaners, so be sure to register soon! Closed toe shoes are required.
Snacks will be provided mid-morning and students will return home for lunch!

We're launching the Afternoon Adventures program once again this October! This is an after-school program we run at Evans Elementary that is run in partnership with City Life Church. It is a simple program designed to help the kids from the school by leading them through games, activities, snacks, and play. It is a great way to serve in our local community and connect with kids and families in a fun, loving environment. Afternoon Adventures runs every Thursday from 2pm to 4pm at Evans Elementary. If serving kids is on your heart, we encourage you to consider volunteer!

Join us for our Day of Prayer and Fasting on October 5th. You can choose to participate in this day of prayer however you would like, wherever you find yourself. As an initiative to increase our dependency on the Spirit, and seeking God to do a transformative work in and through Sardis Fellowship, we set aside the first Monday of every month to fast and pray. We know not everyone is able to do this in the same way, or to the same degree, so we ask you to consider how you can make this work for you. Each month we highlight something to focus on, whether that be in the life of our church family, our local community or world. Sometimes we have specific things for you to pray through and sometimes we just give you the focus and allow God’s Spirit to guide you in your prayer time around that topic.
Focus for October: We invite you to intentionally seek God on behalf of the life of Sardis Fellowship. Pray for God to continue to guide this church family with love and unity, expressed through a winsome testimony to others of Jesus' life changing power. Pray for the many who are facing health concerns of various kinds. Pray for the ministries that are designed to meet people where they are at and help them see the love and faithfulness of God: Sunday mornings as we gather for worship, Kids Ministry on Sunday mornings, Youth Ministry on Wednesday nights, Freedom Session on Thursdays, Young Adults on Sunday nights, Weekly Life Groups of all kinds, Afternoon Adventures on Thursday afternoons, as well as men's, women's and senior adult events.
We invite you to join us at the church on October 5th at 12pm-1pm for a time of prayer.
