Sardis Youth is a place to belong, grow, and experience the love of Jesus. Every Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM, students in grades 6 to 12 come together for games, worship, gospel-centred conversations, and small groups that go deeper. Our leaders love students like Jesus: welcoming them just as they are, walking alongside them, and cheering them on. Why? Because Jesus loved us first. Here at Sardis Youth, you can be yourself, ask big questions, make great friends, and discover how much God cares about you.

Curious about faith?

Join us for 8 weeks of exploration of the Christian faith. Each night begins with a meal together where you get to know the people in your group. After dessert, there is a 30-45min video session covering one of the key ideas of what Christianity is all about, followed by a discussion time where you can share your opinion or ask your questions about the topic. Each evening begins at 6pm and we end at 8pm. There is no cost to you for taking the Alpha Course as our church family has sponsored the cost of the evening, we just want you to come and be our guest! Child care is provided for children 4+.
Join a series of group conversations that freely explore the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. You're invited, no matter your background or beliefs. It's free and there's no pressure to come back.

Runs every Tuesday for 8 weeks (January 20 - March 10, 2026)

We need volunteers to make this event successful. Areas you can volunteer are: 

• Prayer Team: Receive email updates of how to pray for Alpha

• Set-up Team: tables, chairs, and table cloths at 5pm 

• Kitchen Team: Serving food and washing dishes at 6pm

• Table Hosts: prayer time at 5:30pm

• Desserts: Make and bring desserts to church by 5pm

• Cooks: Plan and make meals

Youth 2026 Kickoff — Castle Fun Park!

Join us on January 14, 2026 for our 2026 youth kickoff event at Castle Fun Park!

Start the new year with fun, friendship, and memories at Castle Fun Park with your friends and youth leaders! This is a great opportunity to strengthen our sense of belonging and togetherness as we journey together in faith and following Jesus.

IMPORTANT: All participants are required to complete online registration to participate. We have limited seats on the bus, so please sign up as soon as you can to claim a seat on the bus!

Cost: $15* (this fee includes a $25 Playcard, as well as the bus ride to and from Castle Fun Park) (*Sponsorship is available upon request)

On the day of the event: Please arrive at the church by 6:45PM on Wednesday, January 14. The bus will leave from the church promptly at 7:00PM. We expect to arrive back at the church by 9:00PM. You are welcome to take your child directly to the venue at Castle Fun Park if you expect to be late.

Serving at Ruth & Naomi’s: January 12th, 2026

Ruth and Naomi's Mission is "transforming the lives of people experiencing homelessness, poverty, or struggling with addiction by bringing hope and healing through the love of God."

Sardis Fellowship has the opportunity to serve a meal at Ruth and Naomi’s every second Monday of the month from 5:45-7:15pm. We will be serving the food and cleaning up afterwards and need 6-10 volunteers per night that are 16 years or older.

Ruth and Naomi’s is located at 41630 Margaret Avenue. Arrive at 5:45pm and go to the smaller office building not the multi-story housing building. The Hall Entrance has a white canopy over it and once inside talk to the RAN host. The host will show you where you are to serve and what needs to be done. Enjoy time serving and visiting with people, then helping with taking down tables and cleaning up. Clean up is usually finished by 7:15pm.

One of the hardest things for many of us is to slow down. In light of this, you are invited into an intentional time to be with God, and listen for His still small voice of love. During the morning Gillian and Jenny will lead us in a couple of contemplative prayer practices. These will lead into extended periods of quiet, as we listen and notice what God might want to show us.

Join us for our Day of Prayer and Fasting on January 5th. You can choose to participate in this day of prayer however you would like, wherever you find yourself. As an initiative to increase our dependency on the Spirit, and seeking God to do a transformative work in and through Sardis Fellowship, we set aside the first Monday of every month to fast and pray. We know not everyone is able to do this in the same way, or to the same degree, so we ask you to consider how you can make this work for you. Each month we highlight something to focus on, whether that be in the life of our church family, our local community or world. Sometimes we have specific things for you to pray through and sometimes we just give you the focus and allow God’s Spirit to guide you in your prayer time around that topic.

This January, we lift up our community of Chilliwack, praying for those experiencing homelessness and for families who are struggling to make ends meet. May God provide comfort, provision, and hope, and guide us to respond with compassion and generosity.

Join us for our Family Service on Sunday, December 28th at 10am!

We invite you to join us this Christmas Eve at 6PM for our Candlelight Service. Bring your family, invite a friend, and join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus and rejoice that He came for us.

We are hosting a Christmas Dinner for the families of the kids at Evans Elementary that are in our Afternoon Adventures program! This will be a special time to have fun and build relationships with the kids and families and bless them with hospitality.
