Sardis Youth exists to be a community that helps students grow closer to God, and closer to each other. The role of the Youth Leader is to be part of the team that facilitates that kind of community. There are four main aspects to the role of a youth leader:
Engage with students to help foster meaningful community.
Play with students to help break down barriers and create a fun space where they can belong.
Guide students through their questions, their spiritual journey, and their challenges.
Pray with students for their needs and the needs of their friends and family. Youth Leaders play an important role in creating an environment that is both safe and meaningful for our students to grow and create deep connections. -
A Criminal Record Check, Youth Leader Application Form, Policy Overview, and an interview process with the Youth Director must be completed before serving in this role.
