LiftOff - Qwanoes Youth Retreat

  • Camp Qwanoes 1148 Smith Road Duncan, BC, V9L Canada (map)

The Qwanoes LiftOff Youth Retreat is Open for Registration!

Join us for a fantastic weekend retreat at Camp Qwanoes on Vancouver Island from November 4th - 6th! This weekend is going to be an absolute blast!

There will be delicious camp food, epic All-Star games, worship, and more! Camp Qwanoes has laser tag, the Skyscraper and Sky Station, the Screamer (a massive 80ft swing!) and so much more.

Why go to LiftOff? The LiftOff retreat is a huge win for 3 reasons: 1. Your student will remember this event as a highlight with all the fun they’re going to have! 2. LiftOff is centered on calling students to personally take their faith to the next level! 3. Youth Retreats are such a great opportunity for personal growth and community development! Getting away with friends and leaders for even just a few days can really help them form deeper relationships and make lasting connections!

Who can attend: The LiftOff youth retreat is open to all grades 8-12 students.

Cost: The Cost for the LiftOff retreat is $149 + tax, (ferry included) all of which is payable directly to camp Qwanoes when you register on their website.

Transportation: Any students attending that are connected to our youth group will be taking a bus together leaving from Sardis Fellowship Baptist Church on Friday, Nov. 4th at no later than 3:00pm. Pickup will be at the church on Sunday, November 6th at 6:30pm. There is no additional cost to parents for the bus.

Additional Information:

Registration is on a first-come-first serve basis. That said, we have spots for camp that have been reserved for people from our church. Those spots will become available to anyone as of Friday, October 28th so be sure to sign up right away.

We recognize that youth retreats are expensive. Cost can be a barrier that would prevent a parent from registering their student, and we want to help lower that barrier, so if your family would like assistance in sending their student to camp, do not hesitate to contact Youth Director Richard. We have had generous people in our congregation donate specifically to help sponsor students to go on this retreat, so know that help is available.
