Anne and I moved to Chilliwack with our four kids back in 2004, and we’ve loved raising our family here! At that time I served as an associate Pastor of Community Life until 2019 when I took on the Lead role. I love our city and I love our church family! So many people built into our kid’s lives, all of whom are now grown adults, married with kids. If you’re looking for a caring church that helps you raise your kids to love and serve Jesus, Sardis Fellowship is a great place to be.
Anne and I live out in Greendale on a small “hobby farm” with our dog Cali (actually, it’s our daughter’s dog but you know how that goes!). We enjoy gardening, riding bikes at the Blue Heron Reserve, and going on hikes in the numerous places one can in Chilliwack.
Having spent 5 years in Bolivia, South America as Missionaries, Anne and I still have a strong passion for international missions. I serve on the board of a mission agency called Transworld Radio Canada, which uses digital technology as well as radio to share the love of Jesus around the world. We recently led a team from Sardis Fellowship to Santa Cruz, Bolivia to support our ministry partner, El Jordan Family Ministry Centre. If you’re looking for a church family that cares about the great commission, Sardis Fellowship has a heart for God’s work beyond our door.

Discipleship Pastor
My wife Jenna and I were both born and raised in Chilliwack and we still love it here. We both love raising our 4 children - Ben, Micah, Eva, and Sam - here, there’s so much to do! We love spending time together as a family. Some of our adventures include hiking (Mt. Thom, Teapot, Vedder, Lindeman), swimming, biking the Vedder loop, going to skateparks, and getting ice cream from the Mighty Moose.
Jenna and I started coming to Sardis in 2012. I first came on staff in a part-time Worship Internship that eventually morphed into me being the part-time Worship Director for 6 years altogether. I began full-time at Sardis in 2019 and am currently the Discipleship Pastor. The journey of discipleship with Jesus is unique to each of us and I love helping people discover what their next step on that journey might be. To see people connect the dots to how they’re wired and how God might be leading them gives me great joy.

Steve Lee
Family Life Pastor
I serve as the Family Life Pastor at Sardis Fellowship, where I have the opportunity to serve children, youth, young adults, and families, while also helping the church connect with and serve the local community through outreach. My lovely wife, Joy, and I have two wonderful children, Faith and Chris, and a Korean Jindo named Pearl. We moved to Chilliwack in 2023.
Before stepping into my current role, I served as the Student Ministries Pastor at Sardis Fellowship, where I had the privilege of serving students from middle school through college, as well as young adults, and walking alongside them as they grew in their faith. I enjoy getting to know people, building meaningful relationships, and walking alongside others as they grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus.
Outside of ministry, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, playing sports, exploring God’s beautiful creation locally and around the world, and finding great places to eat and have fun.

Lucas Driedger
Youth Director
Since June 2026, I have served as the Youth Director here at Sardis Fellowship. My role entails planning and organizing Youth nights each Wednesday, connecting with youth, and helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus. I love connecting with others, teaching the BIble, and developing and growing young leaders and so I deeply enjoy this role!
Before coming into this role, I was born in Nelson, British Columbia, but I have lived in Abbotsford for about four years now. For the last four years I have been completing my bachelors of Biblical Studies at Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford, where I met my now wife Olivia! My wife will be youth leading at Sardis with me this year alongside many other amazing leaders we have on our team.
Outside of work, you will likely find me spending time with my wife going on hikes, heading to the beach, or reading together. I also love playing sports such as soccer, basketball, tennis, ultimate frisbee, bowling, golf, spikeball, or skiing. I enjoy playing instruments as well, and you might see me on the worship team on a Sunday morning playing drums or piano. I also love doing almost anything around my close friends.

I am married to Phil and we have 3 kids who are all young adults. Where did the time go?
We began to attend Sardis Fellowship in January 2006, so it’s been a few years! I have been running Sardis Kids for 8 years! I have a passion for teaching kids to not just know God, but to love Him. Seeing kids grow and being a part of their faith journey is amazing!

My husband Allan and I have been attending Sardis Fellowship Baptist Church for four years. I was born in Culver City, California, and my family moved to Maple Ridge, BC when I was three. Allan and I have four grown children and twelve grandchildren who keep us very busy — we love and cherish our time together. In our spare time, Allan and I love to take road trips and enjoy time with family and friends.
I worked in the Health Care System for 30 years, primarily with seniors and their families. For the past year and a half, I have been privileged and honored to serve as Care Director at Sardis Fellowship Baptist Church.
My ministry focuses on providing for the practical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the seniors in our church — including visitation in homes and hospitals, praying with them, connecting them to resources, and expressing Christ’s love. I believe the Lord has given me a passion to care for those who need to be cared for.
