Youth Director
What is your role as the Youth Director at Sardis Fellowship?
I lead the Sardis Youth ministry by organizing and planning our weekly Youth gatherings every Wednesday from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. I also work closely with our Youth leader volunteers by training them, facilitating connections between them and our youth, and learning from them myself! As part of the staff team here, my role also involves connecting with the volunteers, members, and visitors of Sardis Fellowship!
How long have you been working in this role?
Since summer 2026!
I have recently graduated from Columbia Bible College in April 2026, and I was working at Central Heights Church as a worship intern for around 8 months prior to my time at Sardis.
What do you love about what you do?
I love the opportunities to pour into the younger generation through activities, retreats, serving opportunities, and messages from the Bible. I love sharing God’s love and the gospel message to the next generation and helping youth grow in their leadership abilities through mentorship and intentional discipleship.
I love the church as a whole, and I love getting connected to a community so that we can serve the church as one and engage in outreach to our communities!
If you could recommend a favourite place in Chilliwack what would it be and why?
Honestly, I don’t even live in Chilliwack at the moment! Me and my wife Olivia live out in Abbotsford and before working at Sardis have rarely been to Chilliwack!
I suppose my favourite place in Chilliwack would have to be Lindeman Lake because of the many times I have hiked in during my our friend’s birthday. But Abbotsford has nice spots as well! Check out Chadsey Lake near Sumas mountain and Glenmore road for nice spots!
