The events in the men's ministries are designed to connect, encourage, edify, and to direct the men
at SFBC in their spiritual growth. Some events are designed to connect men by simply having fun (golf,
fishing, etc.). Other events are designed for spiritual growth through the study of the Word. There are
opportunities to serve others as well.
Men's Mentoring
Men's Fellowship Group
An important ministry of enabling the spiritual growth of both mentors and protégés. If you
are not involved in the life of another man, this is a ministry for you to investigate.
"Mentoring is a relational experience through which one person empowers another
by sharing God-given resources." (Stanley & Clinton)
The vision is to connect men in the church. If you are new to SFBC, this men's group is
an opportunity for you to connect with others in an informal way. If you want to help others
with maintenance projects; if you want to grow spiritually, then check out this group!

Bible Study and Prayer Groups
Men's Breakfast -
There are typically 3 per year with a guest speaker
sharing advice on issues concerning men. They will be announced
2 weeks prior to the event in our bulletin and in the
"coming events" on the web site.
Special Events -
includes golf, hockey, hikes, motorcycle rallies, fishing, etc.

There are a couple of options for you to connect with a men's group for prayer and study.
The Men's Mentoring ministry is an area where you will meet one on one with
another man. The Men's Fellowship Group is a ministry where you have an opportunity
